He was sent over to France in July, and wounded in the elbow three months later. While making his way back from the front lines with other wounded men, he was shot by a sniper. After he left School in 1901, he joined the staff of a building firm, and later gained an excellent diploma in architectural design. Originally reported 'missing,' he has since been officially declared killed in action on October 4th, 1917."
