  • Son of Edward Lowry and Minnie Leeks, of 165, Featherston St., Palmerston North
    He served at Gallipoli alongside his brothers Private Osric Harold Leeks and Private Ivan Leeks both of who alsom died of wounds sustained in battle. Osiric and Cedrick died in Gallipoli and Pte Ivan Leeks later died in the Somme, France. AWMM
