  • Remembering my Father, Jack, who died aged 63. He was never well after the 1914-1918 War. I often said to him, as a child, "tell me about the War, Dad", but he never did. It was just too awful to want to talk about, for him. One of his Sons, my brother Robin Ensoll, was Bandmaster in the Army Band, and served in Singapore. He talks about Dad a lot, as do I. I was only seventeen when Dad died, and I wish I had known him better. So many questions....too late now. RIP, and thanks Dad.
