    COTTON, Clifford Eru (veteran First World War). On August 2, 1973, at Whangarei (of One Tree Point, Ruakaka), dearly beloved husband of Marjorie, much loved father of Adele (Mrs Adams, Whangarei), John (Maungakaramea), Jim (Purewa), Peter (Wellsford), and Neida (Mrs G Vuietich, Whangarei), loved father-in-law of Helen, Dot, Bunty and George, cherished pa of 14 grandchildren and loved brother of Marjorie (Mrs Martin, Ruakaka); in his 78th year. Peacefully sleeping. A service will be held at the Central Baptist Church, Bank St, Whangarei, at 1pm today (Saturday), funeral then leaving for Maunu Forest Lawn Cemetery.
