    He is commemorated on one of the bells, given by his sisters and brothers for the National War Memorial Carillon, Wellington. Brothers Samuel Lees Eldridge Lewis, Tom Eldridge Lewis and Watkin Eldridge Lewis are commemorated on the same bell.
