    • William Lines was the son of Ellen Lines, of 41 Mayfield Avenue, Old Southgate, London, England. His brother Sidney Martin Lines also fell. AWMM
    • He was 35 years old.

      His brother, Second Lieutenant Sidney Martin Lines aged 28/29, also fell. He was killed near Ypres 13th May 2015 whilst serving with the 1st/5th Bn. London Regiment (London Rifle Brigade) He rests in SANCTUARY WOOD CEMETERY-Grave Reference: V. G. 20.
      They were sons of Ellen Lines, and the late Richard Lines. of 41, Mayfield Avenue, Old Southgate, London, England.
      The brothers are remembered on the family grave at Chingford Mount Cemetery, London, E.4. Public - Geoffrey - Researcher - 6 June 2018 - CWGC and gravestone evidence
