    • Frank Lister was the son of Albert and Elizabeth Lister, of Ormond, Poverty Bay, New Zealand. AWMM
    • Private F. Lister, killed in action on January 27, left New Zealand with the 5th Reinforcements. He was wounded on Gallipoli, and after three months in hospital, returned to the Peninsula, where, he took part in the evacuation. He Subsequently went to France where he was again wounded, slightly, and later seriously, in the battle at Messines. After being in hospital at Brockenhurst, and recovering from his wounds, he again returned to the front, where he met his death. Private Lister was a general favourite with all who knew him, and will be greatly missed by his numerous friends.
