  • As a surviving nephew of John Alexander McNeice I would like to pay tribute to my brave "Uncle Johnny" to mark the hundredth anniversary of his death at Passchendale on 15th. October 1917. Uncle Johnny left the home farm in Ireland in 1909,emigrating to New Zealand where he joined the Police Force. "For our tomorrow he gave his today".
