    Detached to Brigade School, 20 November 1917; rejoined unit, 27 November 1917.
    Wounded in action and admitted to No 1 Field Ambulance, 27 March 1918; transferred to No 55 General Hospital, Boulogne, 28 March 1918; embarked for England and admitted to No 2 NZ General Hospita, Brockenhurst, 31 March 1918 (gun shot wound right shoulder); transferred to NZ Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch, 26 April 1918; discharged to NZ Command Depot, 20 May 1918.
