  • Married May Wilson, who was born in South Australia, during the First World War she was a nurse and earnt the RRC, what was awarded to her on the 31st May 1919 by King George V at Buckingham Palace. They are believed to have met in England, after she returned to Australia, she travelled to Auckland and married Robert. May cared for Robert until his death in 1931, and then returned to Adelaide. AWMM
