  • I've heard a lot about you and your history from our family history. I know that you, Elias and Alasdair all left Clinton and went to war. It is sad that you and Elias did not come back and my great grandfather did. It is important to know that your name lives on in your 4x great nephew. I am proud of the sacrifice you made and of our family name. I thank you for your sacrifice.

  • It is sad that you had to go to war. I often wonder what it would have been like to have met you. You were my Great Uncle and my grandmother's brother of whom I loved dearly, she was a very gentle lady. Lisa
