    YOUNG, Alexander Matheson (First World War veteran, NZEF, 51586). On November 21, 1975, at his residence, Leigh, beloved husband of Agnes and dearly loved father and father-in-law of William and Gladys (Ellerslie), Thomas (Wellington), Jean and Les Cheeseman (Kamo) and Miriam and Bernie Rogers (Milford) and the late Roderick, loved granddad of 11 grandchildren; aged 89 years. At rest. A service will be held at St Michaels and All Angels Church, Leigh, today (Monday) at 1.30pm, the funeral then leaving for Leigh Cemetery. Cut flowers preferred, please.
