On March 6, at St John the Baptist Church, Northcote, by the Rev. Canon Calder, Charles, eldest son of Charles Chambers, Esq.. of Birkenhead (recently of Moss Hall, Finchley, London, to Annie (Phyllis), only daughter of the late Thomas Buckland, of Ponsonby. Charles Eric's parents and grandparents are all buried in same plot at Pompallier Cemetery, top of Pupuke Rd, Glenfield, Anglican Section, Block B, Plot, 10.
