    Admitted to No 3 NZ Field Ambulance, 22 February 1918 (pyrexia, unknown origin); transferred to 49th Divisional Rest Station, 23 February 1918; to 3rd Canadian Casualty Clearing Station, 25 February 1918; to 55th General Hospital, Boulogne, 28 February 1918; to No 12 Convalescent Depot, 21 March 1918 (influenza); to NZ Base Depot, 19 May 1918; rejoined Bn, in the field, 25 May 1918.
    Detached to School of Instruction, 30 June 1918; rejoined Bn from detachment, 12 July 1918.
    Wounded in action, 29 July 1918 (gun shot wound, upper left arm), and admitted to No 1 NZ Field Ambulance; transferred to 29th Casualty Clearing Station, 30 July 1918; rejoined Bn, in the field, 22 August 1918.
