  • Memories of a quiet, lovely uncle who lived all is life in the same house in Walters Rd, apart from the time he spent overseas in WW1. Uncle Mick died in 1965 and is buried at the Waimairi Cemetery, Chch with his mother, my great- grandmother, Bridget. Uncle Mick never married and lived with his brother,Jim,in Walters Rd. He was a market-gardener.
