    Attended Devonport Primary school and Auckland Grammar School.

    Commissioned 1917.

    His brother, Keith Stuart Macky (3/2949), also served in World War 1.

    Known by family as Roy

    Attended Auckland University College (now the University of Auckland). AWMM
