  • Bill was the son of Duncan Charles & Julia Grey CAMERON (nee Quinlan) from Kaiwaka. They had eight children Alexander (b1892), William Donald (1894-1895), William Charles (b1896), Donald (b1898), John Nelson (b1900), Colin Hector (1903), Charles (b1909) and Edward Archibald (b1911).

    His brother Alexander (1892) was enlisted with the AIF and died in France on the 27th May 1916.

    In 1939, he married Lucina May CURTIAN. They had five children – Colin, Merle, Graham, Andrew and Bruce Public - Sandra - Researcher - 3 December 2018 - Waipu Museum
