Herb was an old friend , we spent a lot of time fishing up north at Wollies Bay,
He did not talk a lot about the war, however what he did tell me was moving, he somehow during being fired apon lost contact with his unit during exchanging fire in the dessert, getting close to night fall he realised he couldnt get back and had to spend the night alone under the stars, thankfully he got back with his mates in the morning, miss you old mate rip Herb
