Note
Trevor was a dedicated family man who fought in the Sioni Desert and Cassino for his country for six years and later told me he thought war was a waste of good lives. He brought three fine upstanding children up with his devoted wife Constance and farmed sheep, cattle and cropping when he was not at golf after the war. It was easy to see that he had been affected by the serious nature of war as his personality was strict and serious. He was a proud countryman and a loving grandfather for my four children Andrea, Joleen, Bronwyn and Trevor Allan Rowlands. Although he was honoured with medals he believed they should have been gifted not bought; a very valid point I thought. We loved him dearly and respected his mana. He gave us all much to be proud of. His birth date was 4th July 1916 and his death date was the 9th of May 2006. Thank you for allowing us to make this contribution.
