Darcy Bell died on Sat 24 Nov 1917 in The Woy Woy (New South Wales, Australia) Rail Tunnel. See Sydney Morning Herald for Tuesday 27 Nov 1917 pg 7 for a report of the accident. Bell was working as a Military Guard at the Southern end of the tunnel. He was struck by the 2pm passenger train and killed instantly.
