I am Albert Turley's great grand daughter. I have registered to walk 'The Crossing' which is the re-enactment of the final part of soldier training for World War One where 60 000 soldiers marched over the Rimutaka Hills. We will walk 21 km 100 years after the first troops marched over. I will walk in memory of Albert Turley who marched over in 1918.
