Poppa, your grandchildren and great grandchildren speak of you often. Your photo and medals are still in pride of place in our lounge. The great grandchildren often look at your medals. It is heartwarming to see the schools showing such respect for our servicemen. This year Jeanne has taken the miniatures to Marty 's and Fionn is going to wear them today Anzac Day. I hope you are smiling down on them.
Mark's boys love fishing and you would enjoy watching them sitting down at the river in Waipu with their rods trying to catch yellow eyes and Wendy's boys had the exciting experience of being taken out fishing off Uretiti and caught snapper and cod. Jeanne, Ray and I went to Pateau at Easter to see the Yendell girls it was a great day reminiscing. Much love all the families - Gladys
