On returning from overseas dad worked as a timber Machinist at Georgeson Bros. in Invercargill Until he retired. He always talked fondly of all his mates those that came back and those that did not. He was a great father to his family installing in them the value of working hard. He taught all his boys how to hunt and fish with many holidays in the backcountry of NZ. I miss him very much.
