Sad but wonderful news to hear that Jack has been found. I grew up hearing stories of his exploits as an elite athlete, both at school and in the army, from my grandfather, Ron, his brother, and my Dad, Michael, his nephew. I was also made aware of the devastation the family suffered, like many others of the day, when it was reported he has lost, presumed killed. He lives on in his brothers direct descendants & the personal mementos shared amongst the family, and my son Jack is proudly named in his honour. I would like to sincerely thank the Belgian archeologists who worked so hard to find him, and for bringing some closure to the family, especially my Dad. I look forward to visiting Jack where ever his final resting place may be. Lest we forget.
