Tēnā koe Papa Jimmy Moe mai i runga i ngā ringaringa o te Matua nui te Rangi. Today is the first day that I have seen you for the first time in a photo. I have over the last few years through my mothers sister June Ginnes Tana found out a little more about you as my Grandfather's (Pou Hauraki) brother. My children and my husband work with youth/cadets in the NZCF and I have always wanted to apply for a replica of your medal/s so our sons could wear these in your honour. Having seen you today has moved me deeply and I am aware of the loss of not knowing you and also Grandad Pou. Grandad Pou had 12 children in my life time and many many grand children of whom I am one of the many. There are many great-grand and now great-great-grand children from the Maggie and Pou uri. To this organisation, thank you for having this clear record of my whanau member. Arohanui
