Herbert's youngest son,
Robin Holmes Herbert Hurst, is my father.

He had much pride in Herberts' achievements fondly referring to him as
" the Colonel " and, in later life, enjoyed writing ANZAC day speeches in his memory.

Robin passed away 30th June 2019
