I have a document which shows Sgt MH Grigg and 2 others rushed into a hut to save burning secret papers and pay for the soldiers on the 5th/6th May 1917 during an enemy bombardment. The New Zealand Military Forces thanked them for their gallant conduct and disregard for their own safety
