Hi Great Great Great Uncle Alec, we are currently in level 4 lock-down as covid-19 hits New Zealand 2020. Learning online from home is different, however it has bought our family closer. As part of our school Anzac project we knew we had a family member that went to war but we had never researched about our descendants until now and we discovered your 3 brothers James, Albert and George Agnew all went to WW1 as well and returned home alive. We are also learning about your horse Dolly that went to war that Major General Russell rode and she was 1 of 4 horses that returned home to New Zealand. My Grandma Christine Agnew has the photos of you and Dolly and the tricks you taught her framed on her wall. We are framing our own research of you and Dolly to put on our wall to remember you. We feel honored to have this connection with you and very proud how you served our country well Thank You
