Great Uncle Jacob was my grandmother Clara Elizabeth Tilyard's brother. I know very little about Uncle Jake, only that he was killed the day before Armistace Day, and that my Dad was named after him. Dad was given the name Jacob Edwin, and was born in May 1920, only a couple of years after Uncle Jake was killed.
