Robert Beattie was my Grandmother, Nora Gledhill's, fiancé at the time of his death. My mother, Edna Harris (nee Allison) has a locket with Robert's photo in it that belonged to her mother. Although we never knew him, he's still remembered by Nora's family. Thank you Robert and family for your service and sacrifice.
