William was my grandfathers brother and I did meet him a few times at the rest home in Parakai Helensville after he contacted one of my cousins. He did a lot of family history research and that has been appreciated by a many of us. He told of me his time in military and has written his own history which i have a copy. He had no children but his older brother, my grandfather, had 15 children and 85 grandchildren.
