Note
At this time remembering the end of the 'great war' it is with deep sadness that my wife and I find you in a quaint CWGC graveyard so far from home as a sole New Zealander. Along with fellow servicemen from Canada and the United Kingdom of all services some with honours most without, we want you to know that we have placed a poppy against your Headstone and said a small prayer of thanks for your service and duty to the commonwealth.

As members of the Royal British Legion and an ex serving airman of 22 years we as a family and a nation are grateful.

God bless all those who served in WW1 & WW2
