Elizabeth Anne Muir and Rita Donaldson from the village of Westquarter Falkirk Stirlingshire Scotland have put our own poppies on Pilot Carlyle Gray Everiss. who is buried at the Grandsable Cemetery Grangemouth which is at the bottom of the village we grew up on. While doing some family research I came across this young mans details as his date of death was 2nd October 1941 and this was to me heartbreaking as my birthday is on the 1st October and this young man was killed in an airplane accident.........I saw the Dolores site asking for poppies to be put on every young New Zealanders grave and as Carlyle is the only New Zealander at Grandsable I decided to do this about five years ago and have been doing it ever since.. I have researched more about this young man and part of his ancestors came from England and Scotland.
