My father is Angus MacKay, son of Hector MacKay . Peter is my father’s uncle.
I was recently in Scotland and spent time in Bettyhill - the birthplace of my grandfather and some of his siblings.
My father has tried unsuccessfully several times to visit Uncle Peters resting place in Egypt due to political unrest within the country.
Being ANZAC day today - I wanted to acknowledge and give honour to Peter Munro MacKay service.
