I found this relative of mine via the publication [booklet] "The Cavenett Family in Australia 1840-1970"; my aunt gave my sister, brother, myself and our cousin, a copy each, in the 1970s. I have only just had a look at it, when adding my mother's side of the family to my family tree; there I found one William George Cavenett [1890-1967; I have noted the discrepancy with the military records][DCM, star,Br. W.M.]. It says he married twice; three children by his first marriage and one by his second marriage. It is ANZAC DAY and I had remembered that several of my relatives [in the Cavinett publication] have Military records, so I googled this one and arrived at this site. I have a military history [modest] myself and I believe that makes me interested in those that have served.
