My brothers, sister and myself were very little children when our grandfather died. Our Mother said he never spoke about the war or his time in Turkey. Any talk of the war he kept for men, not women or children. My older brother now has his medals and I hope will be wearing them at the ANZAC service tomorrow. Lest we forget.
