Describe the image: This is a photo of a photograph of Bernard John Jenkins, with some of his fellow soldiers, during WWII. Bernard is the man standing second from the left in the photo. The other soldiers are un-named. It is not certain whether this photo was taken in Egypt or Italy, as Bernard served in both countries.
Where did your information come from?: Bernard John Jenkins was my father. My brother, John Charles Jenkins, born in 1950, allowed me to photograph this photo for my family tree records. Neither of us know exactly where the photo was taken nor who the other soldiers are.
