Describe the image: On July 26th, the ashes of James Frederick Taylor were interred in his brother's grave in Quetteville. This was to reunite Jack and James lost to each other as a result of the war. Jack and James grew up in Matangi New Zealand and were extremely close. I determined that they should be reunited and with the assistance of the War Graves Commission, I was able to make this happen.
Where did your information come from?: The majority of my information was through the stories and information provided by my father. However, I learned a great deal more through the Website, 'Wings over Cambridge' which gave far more detail regarding many aspects of Jack Taylor's life. The original photos I received were taken by SB POtter, Author of the book 'Seven Short Lives', published by TUCANN books.
