Describe the image: This is the set of medals presented to the National Army Museum, Waiouru, NZ by the family of Brigadier Reginald Miles. It is a mixture of original and museum grade replicas as the most valuable awards were lost or stolen after being loaned to the museum several years earlier.
Where did your information come from?: I was at the presentation of this medal set in my capacity as Senior Ministerial Advisor to then Associate Minister of Defence, Hon Heather Roy. I acted earlier as the conduit between the family, NZDF and the Minister's office to arrange the medal set and the presentation itself.
