: John (Gerald) Bruce SCHOCH born 22.06.1892 in Wellington, NZ - died in Flers (France) on 28.09.1916
: Private Schoch, 24 years old, was an electrical engineer of brilliant promise, on the outbreak of war went into the forts for three months, and joined the Reinforcements as an infantryman in his desire to get to the front. He was twice wounded in Gallipoli, and was invalided to England Thence he recently went into the fighting-line in France, where he received head injuries, and later died of wounds.
