Describe the image: This is a photo of Kenneth 'Ted' Donovan as it appears at the Bombay War Memorial Recreation Ground. Ted was killed in the early stages of the Battle for Crete. He was in a group of men who were strafed by a German plane. His memorial is on Plate 13 of the Phaleron War Memorial in Athens.
Where did your information come from?: My father told us the story of how Ted died. this story was the story Teds Mother and Father were told when he was killed. Ted was my fathers Uncle.
