: Hi Anne, I was talking to mum this morning and she tells me Carl has left school essentially through boredom and being let down by being put in a class of which he is not really interested in or capable of keeping up in. mum says they promised to put him in classes he had ability and interest in and felt let down. I feel this is unsatisfactory and quite frankly a common one in High schools throughout the country For that reason I think it’s time the politicians came to realise it is so rife that it needs addressing,. The thing is if they are not made aware of a problem, then they don’t do anything about it and so it continues. One reason that is often all to common is the lack of money for materials but obviously in Carl’s case it is not, but more of trying to juggle numbers per class. The result is a miss match of kids ability or interests. I myself know from experience too that class disrupters cause teachers a loss of time and distraction by their stupid behaviour.
