Come and experience the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition after dark at Wildlife Wednesdays!
Kickstart your evening with a glass of wine and a bite to eat, and socialise in the beautiful Grand Foyer and enjoy the prestigious exhibition, direct from London's Natural History Museum, without the crowds. While there is a maximum capacity at any one time in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, all of our ground floor galleries will be open, so you'll be able to wander the Māori Court, Pacific Lifeways and Pacific Masterpieces galleries.
Make a night of it by grabbing a table to enjoy an antipasto platter with friends (available to pre-purchase here), while discussing the fascinating images and breathtaking diversity of the natural world. Don't forget to visit the Museum Shop, where you can purchase some great wildlife items, or browse the beautiful range of New Zealand made artworks, objects and homewares relating to our collections.
This event is FREE and is suitable for adults aged 18 years and over. No pre booked ticket is required to attend this event.
Please note: Entry is only through the Northern end of the Museum into the Grand Foyer as the Southern entrance is currently closed for building renovations. The Museum Carpark will be open for use.
Our Cafe 1929 will be open for service with a bar and food items available for purchase on the night. Plan ahead and purchase an Antipasto Platter for $29 or include two beverages for $49, here.
McLeod's "Longboarder" craft pilsner available on tap. Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauv Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Sparkling Brut. Low alcohol beer, a full ranges of soft drinks and coffees.
