Pot
human history
A deep clay pot with a rounded base, a narrowing at the neck, an angular point to the belly and a short fluted rim. There are mouldings on the exterior, a series of stucco dots. The angular belly is banded with mouldings that appear as projecting serrations. There are two double handles appearing on either side of the vessel, beneath the rim and above the serration detail. There are no suspension holes. There is a black patina on the round base that could be from the initial firing of the vessel or from subsequent use.
