Domodomo Ukuuku

Domodomo Ukuuku. Top portion of a model canoe mast, broken at one end. This domodomo ukuuku is carved from wood with a U shaped head and long cylindrical shaft, although there is a loss at one side of the head. There is a drilled perforation at the centre of the head. The shaft is cut at a diagonal at the base end. The wood is dark brown in colour with a glossy patina.
