Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Dark grey in colour. Triangular cross-section. Dull cutting edge. Piece from the corner of the cutting edge and bevel has broken off and been glued back. Flat front of blade. Prominent shoulder reduced to butt. Butt has large loss towards poll. Pecked at the poll. Overall surface of the adze is polished with areas of pecking at the butt end.
