Kali ni Bitu

Kali bitu. Bamboo kali. This kali bitu is made from composite materials and consists of a long cylindrical segment of bitu (bamboo) for the tolo ni kali (body of the kali), two forked yava ni kali (support legs for the kali) made of kau (wood), and magimagi (coconut sennit) lashing securing the components together. The bitu, naturally sealed at both ends, is a light natural colour and the yava ni kali are a dark brown colour. The surface of the bitu is scratched with written characters including "MILI[?], "SILI". One of the wooden yava is weaker than the other
