Saqa Vonu. Water vessel made from low-fired qele (clay) in the shape of a vonu (turtle). Brown mottled colour. Orifices for water to pour at opposite ends of the vessel. Oval shape with head of the turtle intact but three protusions of qele to represent the turtle's limbs have been broken off. Underside of the form is decorated with incisions. Light glaze using makadre (resin from the Dakua tree). Fine crack visible at one side.
