Pandanus coil. This is a coil of dried pandanus which has been processed and rolled into a coil for storage, ready to use. Pandanus fibres are a common fibre used for weaving and handicrafts in Tonga. Once harvested and processes, they are rolled into coils like this one to be used when needed.
