Pā. Trolling lure. This pā is made of composite materials. The shank is made from tifa (pearl shell) and is rectangular in shape, and curved in profile. A small perforation is made at the top of the shank for fishing line to suspend through. A sharpened lure point made of tuafonu (turtle shell) is lashed to the base of the shank with fibre lashing and a feather hackle also attached. White nylon line is attached.
